we don't buy much for us at all. Just a small pressie each.

We are the same here too Robyn.  Our gift to each other this year is our new bathroom.  There wont much spare cash left after that is paid for. :D

This fell in to my bag when the main aim of the shopping trip was buying plywood 😉

I want this book! Who stocks it? Anyone in Cairns? All the book stores are pretty much gone these days I guess.

Lucky you Bonsai.  I don't understand how it can be in stores before those that pre-ordered it receive theirs though.

Are they only available in Perth bookshops? I checked our local Dymocks but they had no Thermomix cookbooks at all.

I'm not sure if all Dymocks have them - when I searched their website it didn't show up. I only knew because Cookie had mentioned it.

For Tenina's next book I am not going to pre order it. I'm just going to wait until a good Dymocks gets it. Hopefully mine will come tomorrow, I paid for express post. Fingers crossed. Then I plan to have fun.

Well done astarra, you deserve a Christmas present to yourself plus lots from the rest of the family as well.  Haven't seen that pie book before.

I've just been to Westfield to (this time - fingers crossed) finish off the last of the Christmas shopping.  Just random little things to go in with the Xmas hampers I've made with jams & fudges.
So a strawberry huller for mum after she was admiring mine, a cocktail recipe stick set for my brother, fridge scrabble magnets for my sister, and also 2 reindeer antler headbands for the kids (as requested by DD).

Oh, and a new pair of sunglasses for me as my last (quite new) pair has vanished.  They're not going under the tree though - will start using them straight away.

Yes Judy, the books are $50 at Dymocks and if you buy them there no postage of course. Hopefully mine will come today. I am going to get Jeninwa to sign this one.
