I can't get the hang of this mixing different teas together, I'd be worried I'd mess the flavours up by doing this.  You girls are a lot gamer than me when it comes to experimenting wit T2.

Some nice buys there maddy to kick the new year off  ;D

Judy just brew a blend in  mug and see what you like. With your fingers just pick up a bit of this one and that.Next time you are in the shop ask them to blend you up a taste of this and that. They are very happy to do that. Thy also have recipes on the site and in the store.

Really need to stay away from this thread, now I want to go to T2 and I only rarely drink tea! Love the idea of fruity iced tea for summer though - a very savvy lady I know mixes tea with soda water from her soda stream to keep her 6 kids happy. Hmmm I wonder how much a soda stream costs?

I was going to try and pop into T2 in the city yesterday Gert but Geoff wasn't good and I had to oversee things to make sure they did what I knew needed doing.  All fixed by late afternoon and he is back to normal now.  Now with the heatwave on it's way I'm not going anywhere I don't have to until it's over ;D

Glad Geoff is again comfortable.  Hope, the heat isn't knocking  everyone about. For goodness sake JD no need to go T2 at all. I would say there is nothing you need !!

I love vouchers . I am saving a special one for a meal at the local yacht club when the crowds  leave.

Well today the " WET SEASON" seemed to have started so everyone will be off soon. We need the rain like everyone else so,happy as even though it makes a mess of the pool.

I've just arrived home with some Cook Island Black Pearls, a patch of sunburn and a lot of mozzie bites. Not to forget two exhausted boys.

We arrived to an island in drought and then it rained every day. 10 inches in the week with Cyclone Ian due to make landfall over the weekend. A lovely break. Beautiful tropical fruit and now a bottle of 42 Below Feijoa flavoured vodka. I'm sure that could spice up a fruit tea.

How's your luck Thermesa.  I hope the rain didn't spoil your holiday, obviously you got enough sun to give you a patch of sunburn though.  I love black pearls, was very tempted to buy some in Broome once.

I enjoyed hearing the rain. Wish it landed at home. If anything it caused me to sit back and relax a bit more. If it was full sun I'm not sure how my skin would have coped. The kids loved the puddles and nothing stopped them.

I've checked the tea DD purchased and it's ruby red rose (I think I got the name right), I might make some this morning and leave in the fridge to cool for this afternoon.

DJ paint is still shopping and I'm sure exciting for you now that that house is coming together.

Interesting sounding bread machine Andi, do you find you get a better result with the machine over the oven?

For some breads I prefer baking them in the oven - when I want a boule or baguette baked on the stone in the bottom of my oven.  Or when I want a loaf baked in a pullman pan or other shape.
However, when I'm feeling a bit lazy, it is nice to just let the machine do its thing - with the exception of pulling the beaters out before it starts the final rise and bake cycle.
