That's exciting Robyn. You'll love it. Have fun playing with it.

The pop moulds look good DJ. I've made pops with my Tupperware moulds for the children. I mix yogurt with puréed berries, watermelon, passionfruit, leftover berry coulis, etc. I've never tried icecream. Hopefully others have.

Bought a handmade 'chicken brick'.  It is made of terracotta.  Mine is handmade and glazed. They are usually not glazed.   You put ingredient in it and place it in a cold oven.  The food is steamed in its own juices. I have baked veggies in it,  with a little olive oil and a chicken with veggies around it.  This is a photo from Google, similar.

Looks great Chookie. I love a roast chicken so long as its moist inside.

Gert do they have any heating in the house?

I have a Romertopf and the food is very moist and succulent. About a year ago I found a cookbook for it which was really good as the recipes were extremely easy. Odds on you will soon be making bread in it chookie  ;)

CP, LOL.  Not good for bread as it would be too difficult to get loaf out.   Could try buns!! Bought a Turkey roll to cook in it.  CP do you use yours in you wood oven?
Gert, I hope you have warmed up.

Judy , that is right.  Only this is hand made by a potter and is glazed inside.

It is probably easier to clean then Chookie, something I hated doing with the Romertopf - I ended up throwing it in the bin  :-))

The chicken brick looks good Chookie; I have a similar thing, a Schlemmertopf; must look for some recipes as I have only cooked a vienna loaf in it. I am looking forward to seeing what you cook in it other than the roast chicken of course.

Today's shoes. The black ones for car club runs and the blue moccasins because I couldn't resist.
