I love it but my DD would probably have a heart attack.
I don't really like Halloween, but I do have a bag of cheap lollies to give the kids who knock on the door. We had our fly wire door egged one year and it was an awful mess to clean up. I always ask the kids if they have a grown up with them. If they don't, they get nothing.
I remember one year a little one told for news that they had been out "Chicken Treating. ". Chicken Treat is the name of a fast food group over here.

Yes, I understand Cookie.
I don't like how 364 days we tell kids not to have lollies from strangers but tomorrow they can. On the other hand someone in our new neighborhood puts a note and balloons in letterboxes around the street for those who wish to participate (it happens to be the street I grew up in and know many of the neighbors). The "neighbourly" feeling is quite uncommon these days and it is for that reason only that DD will do some t or t with some neighbors (WITH ME & DH!). We helped save a neighbor's life last year so we really value knowing your neighbors (but not too much!)

Love it Jam.
Don't love t & t. Apparently I was the "only" mum that didn't let her children do it! So my daughters still say.
Bring in Thanks giving, I will participate with that .

Great presents JeninWA; don't like spiders (1000% or more) and same with t and t mainly because of safety of the kids.

Great buys Jenny. Enjoy your purchases.
All I can say jam is ugh....yuck, yuck, yuck.
I'm not a fan of Halloween and the lolly from strangers things. Also very hard to get young children to sleep when others are banging on your door at bedtime too.
