Troupie, hope your cough clears up soon
Great buy Michele, have thought of buying another ipad just for recipes.
Denise, that slicer looks great.

Great vegetable gadget Denise. Is it easy to use? Sounds like something I would use if it is easy to work.

Yes Mich, very easy. I have been wondering how people make vege "spaghetti ". This gadget does it well. Unfortunately it is my third purchase, the other two didn't do the job!

Thanks Denise, will look at getting one. I have a small cylinder type one that doesn't work very well at all.

Denise I like the look of that one, I've got one of the cylinder one and while i find it works ok i seem to get a bit of waste. Is there much waste with this one?

No I was happy as there wasn't a lot of waste. This machine processes about 8cm at a time and leaves about 1/4 cm piece in the bottom. I think I might start popping the small amount of waste in a bag in the freezer for my stock paste.

I was looking at something similar to that this morning at Kitchen Warehouse Bedlam. (DH took me!) I was wondering if I would use it. I have done the zucchini pasta before. Where did you get it please?
Great purchases thermo18.

Just received the new Cooking for me and you, wasn't sure if I would get it as I had the other one, which is also a lot cheaper but will give that one to my mum. It's such a lovely book and I think the first time every recipe has a picture which I love.

Cookie, I bought mine in matchbox but they appear to be the same price everywhere. $49.95. They have a 5 year warranty and appear well made. I thoroughly enjoyed the zucchini pasta and will try and use it often. Giving the HFLC principles a go ATM.
2seconds to do one zucchini with the waste.

I am trying to do the same Bedlam. Still trying to come to grips with macros etc. Are you following any particular person's method?

I bought the same spiral slicer today as Bedlam - will give it a whirl tonight. Don't know whether to go with cauliflower rice or zucchini pasta?
$49.99 is better than what I paid. I purchased from The Essential Ingredient and paid $57.95.
