I have unashamedly copied JulieO and bought the lovely Nordicware tin. It arrived in Melbourne in 4 days from US and then took 3 weeks to come over to WA. Like JulieO I made the recipe that came with the tin. I can't wait to try it.

Yay Cookie.  Isn't the cake lovely?  So easy to freeze in pieces too.

Love the wallet and shoes Obbie.  :D

Nice wallet & shoes Robyn.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

Robyn they are both gorgeous. Thanks for sharing.

JulieO the cake is very tasty. I had planned to freeze some but DH has been eating it. He commented that it was very nice. He is more a biscuit eater than cakes normally.

Lovely tin Cookie, is the recipe that comes with the tin the one pictured on your posting? Looks delish.

Yes Katj the recipe comes with the cake. I'm going to try a couple of other recipes in it too.

Yes Troupie I love this thread. I have found many wonderful things on here that I didn't know I needed. However I now use them heaps. Eg the AF.

Glad you use all the things you buy Cookie. I'm much better now but I bought everything that's posted here on the thread, then realised I don't need it, don't use and then spent a whole heap of time on the give away thread trying to off load it.
Hopefully it went to forum members that do use it.  :-))

After numerous trips to the Salvo's and DH selling stuff on Gumtree that we won't take when we move, I will be very selective about what I purchase from here on.
I am looking forward to going to Melbourne on The 26th for 10  days, and I want to go to Books for Cooks and a few other places, so I could be put to the test.lol

Love this thread also.  Trying not to buy anything at the moment. Have discovered that I still have enough stuff to set up new home . Thought I had done a good job clearing out.  ,!
Would love a Spiralizer.  Have a small one but not satisfied with it. Want one where you turn the handle.
Obbie, would have thought shopping better in Melb than Geelong. Nice restaurants there though. Lovely waterfront.
