Good on you Judy. They all look lovely. I'm sending over some lovely growing weather. Very sunny, but not too hot. No rain though. 😂😂😂

Yes but now I must stay away from that place Gert, enough is enough!
It's nice gardening weather now that it's cooler but we do need that rain cookie.

Judy, do you know what the name of the plant with the yellow 'centre' is, the one at the back right hand side?  Is it a succulent?

Marina, I think it is an ornamental cabbage. At Vilandry garden in France they have lots of them. Some have purple centres.

Yes they are all succulents Marina but none have names on them.  The yellow leaves may just be the new growth, it doesn't look like an ornamental cabbage Chookie, it only has a tiny leaf.

I can email you a close up of it tomorrow Marina then you could take it to a nursery, perhaps they could identify it for you.

I went shopping today with DH and we bought ourselves a new bed.  We have had the old one for about 25 years so it was about time for a new one.  I chose QS this time, forgetting that all my sheets etc are DB, oh well some more shopping needed. :) :)

Margaret how did you manage that? Our bed was bought in 1990 when we were transferred to the bush. We still have it and desperately need a new one. I dropped hints for a few years but now I just state "we need a new bed!" I'm not really getting anywhere.

Enjoy your shopping for linen and your new bed.

All of our mattresses are 'memory foam' and they are really comfortable.  The first one we bought is the most comfortable, but is also very hot for some reason (I think it was one of the Tempur brand), we don't know why that is, it just is.  Our 2nd and 3rd ones (we have 3 beds!) are great.  You are advised not to use electric blankets with them and, in fact, I don't even use winter sheets on our city bed, but we need everything we have got on our Guildford ones because it can get really, really cold there at night.  I use a wheat bag during winter.

As Gert says, Cookie, just go out and get one.

We bought a new Queen size bed for Invermay. The trick with the linen is to measure the side drop. Sheridan, who have a seconds shop in Ballarat, say all their sheets now have 40 cm side drops. This was just enough for a tight fit for the new mattress. Love good bed linen.
