If you don’t want a lid, you can use a Pyrex dish.  They come in lots of different sizes.

I'm afraid my flower arranging is cut and plonk. It looks like it too.

I had my first visit to Costco today. We have been very good at isolating and thought we would pop over there. I didn’t think I would be interested in much, however I did find a few handy things. I bought a litre of maple syrup, some dried cherries, grapes, cukes to pickle, and filled up the car with their cheap diesel. DH came to and said he won’t be going back.

Cookie, I had to laugh at your DH reaction to Costco.  Ral would have been the same.

DIL took me to Costco several years ago.  I loved it.  Could have stayed all day.

I've been to Costco once about 6 years ago. I would love it if there was one closer.

Ours is over near the airport, about a 20 minute drive away.

That's very close Cookie.  If I lived in Adelaide I would certainly have a look around the one there and maybe become a member if I thought it worth it.  It seems to be very popular.

Murphy's law - I just finished taking bread out of the oven and the bread tin I ordered online showed up. I thought the sides would be higher than they are but it is nice and heavy.

Bought a new Microsoft tablet for DH last week and have now got a guy in from Geeks2U to get it up and running ... after myself and two colleagues battled for days trying to work it all out, to no avail.

Marina, great idea.  We are lucky, we have a family of Geeks, big and little.
A word of warning.  Last week I found a scam on my IPad.  Telstra account.  Said they were unable to direct debit my account. I smelt a rat as there was a spelling mistake/ typo in the message.  I rang the bank and they were pretty sure it was a scam.  What a waste of time.

Marina, I would get someone in too, I'm only ok with technology as long as it is working.

Good detection Chookie.
