CC, thinking of you and family.   Keep safe.
I’m a bit embarrassed at the amount of stuff I bought in Melbourne.  But I kept telling myself that the Government want us to spend.

I have only shopped locally in my little market town. To keep me busy in the dark evenings with no social contact I have made the majority of my presents for the wider family and friends - cold processed soap and wash cloths, and only bought raw materials, (bamboo cotton, oils and lye) and a few things for the young from their lists. Two online purchases, and one from an artisan maker. Things are challenging in the uk, in every way, but I’m determined to be cheerful and make the best of it all.
Today I bought a few grocery things inc linseeds for my bread.
Wishing you all a very sunny happy Christmas time xxx DJ

My new set of tmx blades arrived today.  I had forgotten just how sharp they can be.

A whole new cooking experience, I should imagine!  Enjoy them.  It makes me think that maybe I should get a new set as well.

I couldn’t resist this. I have an ancient one that was Mum’s but find it very difficult to use. Hopefully this will be easier. I ordered it on the 23d December and it arrived today. I was very impressed.

Handy for someone who bakes as many biscuits as you do cookie.  Delivery on a public holiday??  Lucky you.

I went out to buy a 2021 diary but ended up with several items I didn’t know I needed until I saw them.

That's the best sort of shopping Judy.

I have just had to sign DH up to internet banking to get our statements. I have been getting them online for years. We received a letter saying he would get paper statements as he wasn't signed up for paper ones. The lass I spoke too agreed with me that it was very silly. What a waste, having 2 sorts of statements available for the one account.
