$15 at K Mart today. I couldn’t resist as I like some recipes from the magazine.

Even if you only get one brilliant recipe out of a recipe book or magazine it’s worth the cost cookie.

Cookie, I also bought that book yesterday.  It has lots of very nice recipes. It gives both calories and carbs, which I like.

This sort of jumped into my arms this morning in Dymocks. I had to buy it as I have vouchers from my brother.

I don't know why I waited so long ... yesterday I bought two electric blankets - one for the city one for the country.  Don't need it so much in town, but our house in the country is perishing cold in winter so it will make a huge difference.  I was thoroughly amused to see that one of the makes (not the one that I bought) gives you the option of turning it on or off by using their app.  How technology changes everything!!!

I’ve just started using mine again after 3 years Marina, I heat it for 30 minutes before going to bed just to take the chill off. Winter seems so much colder this year.

We don't use electric blankets as DH gets hot at night and needs to put his feet out!! It's funny seeing him all rugged up in bed with his feet sticking out.

Love our electric blankets.  Like Judy we just heat up the bed and then turn them off.  Our bed room is down to 9 degrees by morning.

I DO NOT GET OUT IF BED IF IT IS LESS THAN 20 IN MY BEDROOM! Thankfully it has not been less than 20 in a year! 27 with clear skies today but there is a threat of you lot sending the cold up here. Shame on you. LOL!
