I am trying VERY hard not to look at this post.  I have bought the 3 layer cup cake carrier, for my daughter who makes the most amazing cakes for birthdays.  It was delivered right to our door ,  which is something special.  We normally have to drive 20 mins to the PO if there is a parcel. The thing is I DO look and really enjoy what you very clever people buy and use.  Keep posting,  please.

Same here, I love reading about all your purchases - we get some good ideas from this forum because of it so please don't stop maddy.  I'll get a headache if I have to stand on my head every time you post a noncommittal post  ;).

I'm off the Ardindly Antiques Fair tomorrow ;D I never know what I'm going to get, usually if I go with a planned purchase in mind, I never find the thing.Last year I was looking for a child's chair to reupholster but could only find one.The snotty store holder wouldn't come down to the price I was prepared to pay, so I left it.

Remember Maddy - the first step is recognising that you have a problem. If you don't recognise it, it stands to reason that you don't have a problem. That's my theory anyway. There are a number of issues that I don't have - recipe books, shopping and red wine just to name a few.  ;D ;D ;D

Chookie, your DD does make a lovely cake - love the duck and the popcorn for hair, brilliant.
If only we could go to that fair with CC, I'd be in it too.  Photos of any purchases CC please - love to see the before an afters of one of your projects.

Well todays little spree, was actually initiated with the purpose of saving money......are you with me?  LOL.

I had on order from the cake decorating store here, a tub of pastel pink fondant.  Now, this was the intended "saving money" part.  I want to mould my own flowers for decorations, because the bought ones are so expensive.
Now the problem was.....there was lots of other goodies there too  :P
So I got my pastel pink fondant that was on order

then it just sort of multiplied  :o

leaf green fondant

Silicone fondant moulds:  rabbit, ladybug, frangipanis, daisy
Sanding sugars: red, yellow, orange, barbie pink
rose spirit, edible silver dust, and lastly edible pearls.
