:D :D :D lol robyn...very true re all being the same (or pretty much) and I think Maddy is the only one who fesses up to all of her shopping  :P  I tend to do it in bits and pieces so it doesnt seem like so much but I was very good..seems alot but they were very cheap..normally my purchases arent so!!  :P

Hows the camera going?  I still havent gotten around to reading the manual but some great shots just have to figure out movement shots and night shots...  :)

Had to go a fair distance today for blood tests for DH and right next door to the specialist centre was a rug shop.  Have been wanting a rug for my little lounge area at the end of the kitchen ever since I did some room swapping a little while back.  Perfect find today.
Also received a delivery of 2 boxes of 6 glasses I'd ordered for the grand-children just after we got home.

Thanks Marina, we have slate in the kitchen and right through into this little room which used to be the dining room.  The dining room is now in the L-shaped lounge where it is supposed to be.  I keep going out to look at the rug, can't believe we found one with the right colours and it really made my day.

Thank you for all the thumbs up girls, really makes my day which didn't start out very well and I was a grumpy bum - finding the rug lifted my spirits no end plus the fact that today, for the first time in my 47 years of driving, I actually did a reverse park. DH was very proud of me.
The glasses will go down to the kids' house Jeninwa (kids & slate floors do not mix) - the little chap is into Toy Story so will love his set to bits and miss 6 year old will be impressed with hers too I would think. Just $6 for each set of 6 so I couldn't resist them.

great buys judy and dont you love when you find somethingyou have been after for a while..I still havent found a rug I like for our lounge area but then stopped looking as the kids would just destroy it anyway...got to love that feeling of finally finding what your after and bravo bravo to you for the reverse park!!!  All in the confidence!   ;)

Hally it was two shops in the one day and I have literally hundreds of cookbooks...I have a large bookshelf and a half size bookshelf full of them plus on top of cabinets and lately in piles here and there lol  As I said earlier I am quite addicted and can never seem to go past them to have a look...not to mention the copy and pasting of recipes online...Im incurable what can I say  :D
