Who would like to get together with Trudy & Judy in Adelaide

Trudy & I are planning a get together in early August and would love to extend this invitation to other forum members.

The venue is The Sebel Playford Hotel (in the Lounge Bar) 120 North Terrace, Adelaide.

This hotel is a lovely place to meet people for coffee - they have long lounge suites either side of a coffee table which could accommodate larger groups of people.  If people want to stay on for lunch, there are readily available meals under $10 for casual eating.

At this stage we are looking at 2 dates, Friday 5th August or Monday 8th August - this has now been set at Friday 5th after 4 takers for that date - so if anyone is able to join us, you are quite welcome.

Wish I could join you as well but, alas, distance prevents it.  Hope you have a great get-together. Have you two met before or will it be a 'first meeting' for you both?

Me too.  ;D. Bit far to come though from Tassie. Ive never been to Adelaide. I nearly went there last year when my sister was flown to the Womans hospital there because of a high possibility of having a prem baby. The hospitals here in Tas were full and couldn't take her at the time. She spent 5 weeks there before she could come home at 30 weeks. And within 2 days she went into Labor back here in Tas to a little boy (3lb 6oz).
  It would be great to catch up with some regular forum members though.

I am coming ... to Adelaide for a wedding next year and I do hope to catch up with some of you then!! ;D ;D sadly not this time though

You girls are so lovely wanting to come to our get together - of course we know it isn't possible but as you can imagine, we would love to have you all.  Give us plenty of notice next year Kathryn so that we can pencil in a date. :-*  :-* :-*

I would love to come!  How cool to meet some of the legends of the forum  :) :)
I can only make it if it's on the Friday, as I work Monday-Thursday  :(

I owe JD a great big thank you for her wonderful recipes and helpful hints, would be nice to say hello and thanks in person.

Cookie, does that mean you will be in Adelaide later?  If so PM me and I will give you our phone number, perhaps could meet up with you when you get here.  It would great to finally meet you!!!
