Rach here... (Brisvegas, Australia)
« on: February 10, 2009, 01:10:05 am »
Hi everyone!

Finally after seeing the TM in action about a year ago I am now the proud owner of a TM31!

I am Rachael from Brisbane, Australia and am looking forward to 'mixing' it with TM cooks/chefs around the world!

I have four children aged 9 1/2, 7. nearly 5 and 5 months... yes, they do keep me busy but so does one child!

I'm loving the sorbet in our current heat and already have some questions (espically for my failed experiment last night  :D) so I am off to explore the forum!

Hi Rach. Have a great time here. Hope you are not suffering too much in the sweltering heat that your country is currently experiencing.

Take care

MM

Hi Rach - great to have you on board.  Sure you'll find it helpful

BTW MM - Australia really is a big country - in Queensland they are suffering one of their worst floods ever - ???  It is sickening to see all the water up north while our dams are at less than 30% capacity despite 3 yeas of water restrictions.

And then the bush fires in the south - nearly 200 dead and whole towns destroyed :(

Sorry for the doom and gloom in your intro, Rach ;)

Hi and welcome! That didn't take you long  :D

The dams that service Brisbane are up 40% capacity but now the local govt is poisoning our water supply with flouride.  >:(

If only we could siphon the water from Nth Qld to Vic to balance things out!
