Hi everyone So it was kind of inevitable I join this forum,  I was starting to lose friends pretty fast because I wouldn't shut up about the 't' word:D so hello 'friendly audience' with whom I can comment and chat to my hearts content without offense... Well hopefully:D So I'm a mum of 1 (daughter, nearly 2), living in Melbourne (it's SUNNY today!), and I've had my TMX for a few days now... It feels like it must be a month because I've cooked so many things... Had a few 'whoops' moments but generally had success with most things:D Looking forward to converting some of our favorite things, which if successful will happily share... See you round:D

Hi MummyAmanda, welcome to the forum.  You are correct, you can rave on as much as you want on here and we will all be interested & join in. I tend to not even bother talking about my TMX to non-believers (only because of the cost and they don't like cooking anyway) and just continue to serve things up to them which they always enjoy. That's all we can do and they don't know what they are missing out on so I don't mind keeping my little secret all to myself.  In fact, it makes me feel rather special that I am the only one (apart from DD) who has one.  Sunshine here in Adelaide today too, isn't it wonderful.  Looking forward to some of your conversions.

Great to see the sun again, even if it is really cold - I guess we can't have everything - we've got our TMX's and it is the middle of winter so anysunshine is a bonus just keep cooking and enjoy yourself.

Hi and welcome to the forum, MummyAmanda.  You will very quickly realise that this forum is as stimulating as thermie - but  beware, thermie adds efficiency to your day to day activities this 'coffee circle' can while away hours and almost create a disaster.  I was so involved in forum chatting last night that I had forgotten that I had commenced filling the spa bath - while our water usage will be massive, I avoided flooding but that was pure luck.

Thanks everyone yes I've been getting a bit of use out of this forum already, and also discovered it's a great way to connect to even more recipes through the blogs of various members just made some banana raspberry and coconut muffins from a loaf recipe that I found... Now off to search for some ideas for the piece of pork sitting in my fridge for dinner:D thanks again for the welcome:D
