Without washing the bowl, add the boiling water, salt and pasta to it and cook 12 mins/100oreverse/speed1/MC off.
Drain and keep the pasta warm in a thermosaver.
Rinse and dry the bowl.
Drop the garlic onto running blades 4 sec/speed 7.
Scrape down the sides, add the oil and saute 2 mins/100o/speed 1.
Add the mince and saute 5 mins/100o/reverse/speed 1.
Add the French onion soup mix, the canned tomatoes & the water.
Cook 7 mins/100o/reverse/speed 1/MC off and steaming basket over the hole.
Add the cheddar cheese to the sauce and mix to combine for 30 sec/speed 1/reverse.
Pour the sauce over the pasta in the thermosaver and mix through with a spatula.
Serve sprinkled with some parmesan cheese and coriander.

Tips and Hints - the coriander gives this dish a lovely lift. The photo was taken before I realised that.  This tastes even better when reheated so preferably make it in advance.

cookie -  It is really tasty. I only made a half quantity for us and left the water out and used all the tin of tomatoes. Yum. Thanks Judy.

There is no mention of tinned tomatoes that I can see in the ingredients, but there is in the instructions? Is that just the one tin?
