Yes the jug is $400, so I could order the jug and somehow end up buying the mat too*?!***  will see what DH says. If I keep making fabulous bread I think he will say yes. He doesn't like flour on the floor

Now who does that remind you of CP :D :D - Our newcomers wouldn't know Bron like us early members do, she was always saying she had won something when in fact she had bought it.

I wondered why cp said you won it!?!? Makes sense now.
 :D

I normally mumble, gosh I got confused, didn't realize I spent so much,  mm try not to do that again.

So far that has worked for me.LOL

I have spent a lot  recently for the kitchen, so will see how I can juggle both.

I think the concept of winning something is so funny! I haven't used it yet, but I am saving it for future use one day  ;D

Another reason i think i should buy the breadmatt, i have flour everywhete, i look like a snowman from tummy down, and the snow has certainly fallen on our kitchen floor!

Also it sticks to the bench with the pastry or dough and its hard to get off.

Oh the joys of baking ;D

I have bought one, waiting for tax return for jug and blades.

Used it today to roll out Maddys cheese and bacon rolls, i didnt need any exrra  flour so there was no mess and no sticky dough on the bench. Love it already.

I says it can go in the oven up to 280 degrees, anyone put it in the oven.

Thanks

I haven't put mine in the oven but know others that have. They work well, the only thing is they do discolour a little when you cook on them

I've only seen it used in an oven for wrapping bread during the first rise. Faffa are you saying that people actually use it to bake on - like baking paper, etc?

I never do my rise in the jug any way but it does sound like a great idea. Still not sure on the using it to cook on though. A little expensive for it to all go wrong.
