Yay I have my Thermomix

Hi I am a Mum of two children living in Leeming, Western Australia and my Thermomix was delivered by my fantastic consultant Deb last week. It didn't take much to convince my hubby to buy one as we were going to replace the manky old food processor anyway and I was fortunate enough to hear about TM around the same time. My husband couldn't get to the demo but has been reading the cookbook and asking me lots of questions. He is a great cook, so I can't wait to show him how the TM works, the kids are keen too

Welcome to the forum Becca. Life is certainly going to change for your family now you have the TMX. Lucky you, it looks as if DH is going to share the cooking duties with you. Have fun.

Hi and welcome Becca, Sounds like you will be having lots of fun with your new TM. (Much better that a food processor) Good luck and enjoy getting to know your TM.

Thanks all for your kind welcome - I am scoring 2 from 2 now as my 11 year old son has just come to tell me 'oh wow you aced that' whilst eating the Apricot Chicken Risotto - this is a boy who is a real foodie
... a glowing remark like this one as well for the Minestrone I made last week is off the chart for me (usually I get the "it's OK" comment). Another reason I bought my TM was to reinvigorate the waning enthusiasm I havefor cooking - I even bought a bag of Bakers Flour today
