Hello from Tasmania
«

Hello, this is my first visit here. I don't have a Thermomix yet but once I find out an awful lot more about it, watch how some of the recipes are made etc, I'll feel confident to get one (I think). I live in Tasmania near Launceston, but haven't got a clue how I can get to see a demonstration and where.
I'm so glad to have found this forum, lots of ideas and very friendly. Am looking forward to keeping in touch and getting over shyness ...
Thank you everyone.

Welcome to the forum. If you contact the head office in Perth via the internet they will put you in contact with your nearest rep. There is also a list on here of some of the reps that are on this forum which you might find helpful. Good luck.

Hi Islander, I live near Launceston as well and my Sister is a consultant and I am sure she would be happy to run a demo for you if you are interested. She also lives near Launceston. We both have Thermomixes and our dear mum as well. I couldn't live without it now. You would never regret buying one they are brilliant.
Anyway if you would like my sister to contact you or you contact her I can PM you some details.

Hi Islander, welcome to the forum. Looks like there are no shortage of demonstrators in your area. Keep in touch and let us know what is happening.

HI Islander, plenty of help in Tassie. Have a good look around before you decide. We are all converts here but ask any questions you wish.

Thank you all so very much for making me feel welcome, yes, I would like to get in touch with someone close to where I live. For a demonstration, would the demonstrator come here to my home, or would I need to go somewhere else where it is by invitation, like Tupperware?
I can only get online here for a short time each day, so will look forward to finding out a lot more, many thanks once again.

Hi again Islander, Usually the demo is held at your own home and you can invite a few of your friends to come along as well. The demonstrator will make several different recipes for people to see and taste what kind of things the Thermomix can do. The demo is a great starting point to help you decide weather a Thermomix is for you or not and there is no obligation to buy.

Have a demonstration. We had a dinner party (which I am told is quite uncommon) with a four-five course meal and took jam home with us for breakfast. It was an unbelievable night!!!! Helps the sales enormously, particularly when convincing DH to cough up with the money!!! Make sure he comes along too, then he will be the one buying, not you!!!!
