Said to be the new nigella...........is she worth me setting the record button for tonight? Family wont watch a cookery show in the evening, unless its hugh fearnly- Whittingstall (they call him hugh hardly -edible in our house, because of the bizzarre ingredients he cooks with!)
The pictures of the food on the trailers look lovely!

Donna hay does Fresh, Fast, simple.
Really easy stuff.
I was given 2 of her cook books, but don't use them at all.
She is on Lifestyle food here.

She's very popular here in Australia and I occasionally buy her magazines but I don't have any of her recipe books. I've never 'seen her in action' on TV so don't know what she's like as a presenter.

We love Donna Hay in our house, Perth, western Australia. I have a subscribtion to her magazine, about 3 of her books and ds has her kids cook book and kids magazine.
Her food is step by step. Like jameie oliver, i have neverbhad a flop with any of her recipes. We used to have foxtel which is where her show is aired, saw it once and it seemed good.budget cut backs foxtel had to go.

I
LOVE
Donna Hay!
I have all of her books, and watch her show.
She is a bit of an Aussie Icon. She would have to be Australia's most famous food stylist.
Most of her recipes use few ingredients, and are all simple to cook.
Check out her
website
, and can I suggest looking at the store
......I have my eyes on some gorgeous green glass cake stands
I adore her baked lemon cheese cake
She is the Queen of the pasta twirl

DITTO!
......but that doesn't stop me
You will become creative finding the space though.....eg..a dolls house gives you lots of extra room
Just think outside the cupboard

You are right maddy. Think outside the square is what I did when I bought this storage box from a hardware store (Mitre 10 but they are also available from outdoor living stores as well, people use them to store their outdoor setting cushions in). I have all my jam jars & sauce bottles etc in it plus a few other light plastic objects I don't use very often and it is just out under the pergola so no trouble to go out and get anything. I put all unused appliances in the bottom of the linen press after a good clean out in there and now with this storage box outside, I have gained so much more room in the kitchen cupboards to spread things out to make it easier to get to (plus add a few more things from time to time).

She did the pasta swirl last night!!!!!!! I didnt know that there was a way of serving pasta that wasnt just plonking on a plate!
Also did a chicken thing that looked nice. Looked on ebay for magazines, cost from Australia with postage £28.95!!!!
The homeware looks similar to that on the Martha Stewart website, the green milk glass, and the plates. Nice though!
However since she is launching over here, it wont be long until everything is available in uk.
