Hello all, I'd just like to introduce myself ... my name is Kay, I live on the beautiful island of Tasmania with my DH and our 3 daughters. I have ordered my TM31, now waiting (impatiently) for it to arrive!!  And how lucky am I ... my DH said I could get one but he wasn't that buzzed (he hasn't seen a demo!!) but when I ordered one he came and gave my nearly 1/2 the money as a gift {said it was just cuz he loves me. } I was so surprised, not expecting anything toward it and then that  !
Oh I can't wait for it to arrive!!!!!!!!!

Welcome Kay - the waiting is the really hard part! I have had mine for just over a week and I am somewhat obsessed with it  I am already planning all the Christmas presents I am going to make using it...

I went to a Back to Basics Cooking Demo on Monday night (which was really good) and came home with 3 new cookbooks and I want to try nearly everything in them!

Happy reading on the forum - there is so much amazing info on here, just don't try reading it all at once, you might feel a little overwhelmed (as I have found out  )

Hi and welcome.  I'm sure you've read this before on the forum, but once you have decided on the first couple of recipes you are going to make, double check that you have everything in your cupboards just waiting to be used on the big day so that you can get stuck in straightaway and not suddenly find that you are missing that one vital ingredient.

Ain't that the truth! I wanted to make the Tomato & Lentil Dahl from the EDC on day 3 of ownership and found I only had green lentils and didn't want to risk mucking it up by swapping out an ingredient!

The waiting is the worst part.  Me too. I could burst.  Some kind members of the forum suggest I plan meals ahead for when it arrives.  Then I get too excited and confused and too hard.  I just need that box to arrive through my door.  Good luck with the waiting, it is really tough.
