I love this idea. I only have the EDC with me but will see what I can do. Otherwise I'll get involved when I get home.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

Thanks JD, i will try. I rang a few stores here and no-one sells the spice, so need to make it.

Caroline, for my homework last night I went off to bed with all my recipe books and was browsing until 12.45am.  Once I started I couldn't stop and it's amazing how many recipes jump out at you each time you have a look through a book.  Before I went to bed I had defatted a pack of chicken thighs and cut up a 1.8 kg piece of blade steak for some meals I had already planned but they went by the wayside once I found others in the books.
I have today made 2 different recipes from the batch of thighs - decided to do half the recipes so that I could cook more often.
I have reviewed the Chicken Jalfrezi from MOTM and the other recipe I did was Turkey Chicken in Osso Bucco Sauce pge 82 MOTM which I will review tomorrow once we have tried it.
With the blade steak I am going to make Soutzoukakia with rice, page 105 MOTM & Moroccan Harira Soup MWOC pge 88 plus convert my own favourite recipe of Goulash which won't count in this challenge but I thought I'd list the others so that other people could choose something different.
Loved the challenge and getting to know my recipe books again, thanks for coming up with this idea  :-*

Love this idea, I don't use my TM cookbooks very often so this is a good time for me to try something new. Will have a look at my cookbooks at the weekend.
I child-proofed my house, but they still get in!

OK,  I want to play.  Made Shrimp Paste Chips from traveling with TMX.  Do I just review the recipe?  Here goes......
Not stated,  you need at least 500g of large green prawns to give 300g in recipe.
You have to be careful how you cut the sheets into 8 triangles.  I used a ceramic knife and didn't cut but pressed through the pastry.
We found them a bit bland and next time would add a little green ginger juice and 1/2 a clove of garlic.

On the positive side,  these would make an easy 1st course,  and could be prepared in advance.
They cost about $2.50 per serve
They are not as fatty as prawn toasts as they are not fried.

Should this review go somewhere else?

Good review Chookie.  On the home page there is a Topic for Reviewing recipes. This will take you straight to it, just start a new topic.

CC, did you make the rolls flat by placing a tray on them?

Ah, good one Hally.  I have been directing people to this recipe when the EDC one failed them.  I had heard it was good but there are no reviews on the forum to back me up  ;)
