Another one who uses it on average twice a day.  And that doesn't include whatever my husband uses it for as he's the SAHD.  On weekends it gets hammered at least 4 times a day if not more.  The other weekend, it literally was going non-stop while I cooked up a load of tomato and bbq ketchup for the pantry and friends.

How many times do I use Thermie?.........  Where do I start?......... I have had my TM since January and not a day goes by (ok maybe 1 or 2) without me using my TM. I have 5 kids and 1 big kid (DH) and I cook our meals at least 5 times a week in the TM(DH cooks Saturdays, and Sundays the kids make their own (Toasted sandwiches, spaghetti, noodles, what ever)
Sundays I usually do a big cook up of snack stuff for lunches (School and work).
I really couldn't tell you how often I use the TM as it varies from day to day just like my washing it always at least 2 load everyday but most of the time more.

What I really like is the ease of cleaning between uses, it makes me want to keep using it (unlike my juicer).     Today I made crepes, bread, a chickpea/almond salad sauce, butter, butter & oil spread, potato & leek soup, shortbread, grated some carrots, and knew it was time to stop when I tried to spin dry the lettuce. During the week on average 1-2 times a day.

I used to look forward to Saturday's paper after a sleepin.  Now I look forward to a special brunch, courteously of Thermie, pancetta, broccolini and eggs, all while I'm in the shower!

I must remember not to spin dry my lettuce in the TMX.  Did you find a recipe for lettuce soup Vivaroo??

Oh it's really easy Marina: lettuce, a sprinkle of love, turbo speed, viola.
Luckily I saved it, kinda, I thought  :-: might be ok but I still aren't used to how fast things go from chop to pulverize. I'm a little heavy handed on the speed dial.

I have a nice recipe for a soup with lettuce romaine. It has to be romaine as the other lettuce dosnt stand the heat.

This is for about 4 ppl

2 romaines
1 onion
1 clove garlic
200 g potato
200 ml dry white wine
7 dl water
2 spsk. oil
EVO
Sherry vinegar

Boil up enough water with salt for blanch the romaines
Cut the stem off the romaines and save the inner leaves for decoration
Blanch the romaines until tender then quickly put them in iced water to preserve the color.

Chop onions and garlic and saute in oil
add the peeled and diced potato and add the wine and let it reduce until gone.
Add the water and  let it all simmer until the potatoes is tender
Blend all the ingredients together with the blanch romaines and add salt/pepper
decorate with the inner leaves and sherry vinegar and olive oil
