250g light sour cream
4 banana, chop roughly
1 TBSP damerara sugar, to sprinkle on top

Method:
1. Preheat oven to 1600C, grease and line two loaf pans.
2. Put  butter on the  *: , 3 minutes, 600C, speed 3.
3. Put the rest of ingredients, apart from damerara sugar, mixed at speed 4 for 30 seconds.
4. Pour into loaf pans, sprinkle with sugar.
5, Bake for 50 minutes or until cooked.

Denzelmum thanks for the conversion. I've never had Banana bread but we really enjoy banana cake - is it similar, the ingredients look the same from my memory.

Hope you enjoy it as much as we do, have enough for DD's lunch box, one loaf to DH's work and the rest to my work.  They all enjoy this.

I made this using only 275g sugar and 125g dried cranberries. It was delicious and I especially loved the sweet crunchy topping due to the sprinkling of Demerara sugar before baking.
