Hi Judydawn,

You should enjoy Nico's Thai Chilli Chicken.  I have made it several times and it always comes out well.  Like you we don't like bland food.  I am waiting for the English Indian cookbook to comeout as Indian food is a favourite of ours.

Well, it has been almost a month since I got interested in this site which in turn motivated me to start using my TMX a lot more and to stop being frightened of failures.  I have done 16 new recipes in this time, mostly off the forum which shows just how useful this site is. I have submitted a few recipes too, not over confident here but I think todays beef and beer casserole will be a winner.  This site is now such a big part of my life and sometimes I realise I am the only one on it and everyone else is out enjoying themselves - such a forum tragic I have become but hey, I am just loving it to bits and I promise I will get a life soon!!! I'd just like to thank everyone for their support and comments - I feel as if you are indeed my 'new friends'.

Ayla, I know how you feel.  I found this site a small time before I got my TMX. I was actually boring everyone with my count down until I got it. It was so hard reading all about it and not having one.

Judydawn, I agree re this site. I have learned so much from it and people are very helpful.

Trudy, you were right - OMG! Nico's Thai Chilli Chicken was to die for!!! I am going to post it in mains so that everyone can try it.
Mine tasted even better than the sample they gave us during his visit to one of Adelaide's cooking classes - that was afterall, only a spoonful. Why did it take me so long to get around to cooking this one!

It is great to have people willing to get so involved.  When I started on here there had been about 70 topics and 80 posts - so almost no replies.  The majority of topics were recipes from brazen, Tenina and me that had been copied (mistakes and all - LOL).

Now, another 500 topics and 3000 posts shows that people are willing to try the recipes and make comments.  It is great to see people involved (other than brazen and me  ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;D ;D ).  In fact it has been a real pleasure to see all the activity without me being involved.  Some poor innocents still think this is my forum  ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) !!!!

cookie - you have been very helpful too !!!  There are so many people who look at the forum - but never post.  We need more like you to put in tuppence worth.

Yes, that plus the fact I somehow thought I'd wait for the cooler weather to do something like that. Cooking and hot weather do not go hand in hand but it looks as if the worst has passed and we can now really get stuck into our cooking.  I have even started cooking 1/2 recipes so that I don't have any leftovers and can therefore try out more recipes.  So much to do and only about 20 years left to do it in!!!
