Kiki J - I made it with some pasta, steamed broccoli and cauliflower. The only change I made was to swap the beans for peas, as my little ones have a real aversion to beans, for some reason. I thought it was delicious - really tasty - will be making it again!

Thanks CC, it was just like the original oven cooked version - haven't made that for years but can still remember what it tasted like.

Hi Judy - thanks for this recipe!
I made it for the boys tonight, with some pasta and steamed broccoli and cauliflower. The only change I made was to swap the beans for peas, as my little ones have a real aversion to beans, for some reason... must be all that green!!
I thought it was delicious - really tasty - will be making it again!

Tonight's dinner WAS leftovers, actually!
My boys had an entree of tomato and lentil soup, followed by the goulash and noodles! Oh, and then icecream.
Doing it tough in our house!!
