I have posted a recipe for Beer bread with cheese and herbs.
You could just make it without the herbs. It is nice both fresh and toasted. But , as far as I know , nothing will give the same texture of yeast.
I will consult my bread making books to see what I can find for you. CC's soda bread is probably the best substitute. The sour dough is based on wild yeast, so I am not sure it this is what you want.
