You do crack me up Lee.
Well I just hope he is fixed very soon so that you guys can smile once more. What did you do to amuse yourselves pre-Thermie Lee, he seems to have taken over your lives

You guys are completely mad
. Please Please don't give your TM a warm bath (Especially the main component) Cause I am pretty sure that will make him worse. Hop all is better soon.

Lee, enough of this feeling sorry for yourself. When our chooks stop laying, we lean an axe up against the hen house door. I suggest that you get out all those pre TMX appliances, such as Bamix, Mixmaster etc, and sit them on the bench next to TMX. I'll bet it unclicks pretty fast.

Just seems to me that the boys might need to spread out their affections a little - it never pays to put all one's eggs in the one basket!

Oh heavens above, we already have Teeny and Josie. Our pomeranians that came with us from Melbourne. So there is plenty of love to share around. Teeny (DS, aged almost 5) loves it when I am Thermomixing as I drop the occasional something onto the kitchen floor for him to eat. Josie, (DD, aged 8 1/2) also quite likes it when Daddy cooks.....

Chookies advice sounds pretty good to me - nothing like reminding a recalcitrant appliance that they are not irreplaceable (well, we all know that the TMX is irreplaceable, but don't tell him that!).

Hope everything gets fixed Lee. My heating element went a few weeks ago so I was without my TM for 10 days so I know how you feel

The good news is my new GL gave it a quick bash and got it back together in one piece so Thermie is up and out of bed but not fully 100%
A new bowl has been ordered and I just have to swap it over when I see her next week. I will just wash him carefully and try not to let the water get into the base, which now cannot be removed. So I am happy that Thermie will live. He is kind of less able than he was but thankfully it is a temporary measure. Luckily, Thermie is like the Bionic Man with replaceable arms and legs!!!
Thanks all for the concern.

Oh Cookie, how could you chuckle at Thermie's illness?
? I treat him as if he were one of my own darling offspring... Oh dear, I think you have inspired a family portrait.... Can you imagine, sitting left to right, Teeny, Josie, Ed, Me and Thermie on my knee with a bandage around him??? Watch this space!
