has anyone made cinnamon sugar from cinnamon quills

 hi there
l have been trying to making cinnamon sugar from cinnamon quills
but they are not turning to power.  they look like tiny splitters of wood
has anyone done it before ?

I've tried drying out the quills first then blitzing, but like you I get the grainy splinters.  I've gone back to using a little elec spice grinder that I've had for years and that does the job.  Hopefully someone else has been successful and can give us some hints.

Googling usually comes up with what I am looking for Amanda, anyone can do it.  I just typed in 'grinding cinnamon quills in the thermomix' then followed the links.

l did try to search for it on the forum but was not able to find it
everything else came up with the same words , but they weren,t the right ones
