I have a large bunch of silverbeet, we are not fans, ideas please

I would Hally as tomato & spinach go well together but if you read all the threads on the above link, you will see where farfallina's Zucchini sauce has also been used.

Dare I ... a non TMX recipe...  :  when we have plenty of silverbet, I blanch it, add it to a mix of ricotta, feta, parsley and any other herb + seasoning, and stick this filling between 2 sheets of puff pastry:  nice with a salad.

Hally, cook silver beet in a little water and when nearly cooked add a lump of butter and a good grind of nutmeg.

Oh Faffa you dont understand,  those big green scary leaves, they look like they could engulf you up, then those bright white veins like from a horror movie and the overly large white stalks are just so  so... Repulsive......mmmm..

So grosss - but chopped they dont look so evil!

Well dh cohose the slice cc's suggestion, as long as we havent been taken over by martians i will report back. If I wake up in the morning with green STUFF all over me, i wull know silverbeet IS possessed,!!!!!!!

Yes both woke up, checked body and we are not green, no weird leaves sprouting from any body, stillable to talk, so were not possessed By silverbeet. YAY LOL

In panic that spinach might not be baby spinach!!!

Couldnt cope with being grossed out twice in a week.

I ate dinner last night really really fast and tried to get visions of those huge ugly green Leaves out of my head.
