Demo - people numbers issue
«
on:

Well my demo is ment to be on sat and now I don't know of anyone who said they would is actually coming
?
I had to cancel a demo a few months ago because of the same thing?
I really want the demo because I want to order within a few weeks (If I don't order at demo) but really want to see it and have hubby see it in action first ( I've only seen it in action on YouTube, never in person)
I'm going to call the consultant a bit later today (to early right now) and speak to her,
Do you think she will still come and do it for me?

Emma, that a shame, i have had 3 demos and all have been 6 or more people.
What about a famiky member or a neighbour. Tell them its free food, buy a bottle of wine and make it a social event.
Hope you still get your demo.

Dear Emma, Don't be too anxious, as you can still have a demo as long as there are three households represented at it, but bear in mind the costs your demonstrator is bearing - petrol and food ingredients which he/she has probably already bought at this stage. It would be an awful shame to cancel the demo but I think the important thing is to share your hopes and worries with your consultant.

I was relying on my dad and his wife to come but now dads not sure they will come (if weather is good they need to keep going with building their house) IL's and my mum are to far away to come
We are new to the area( only been here 8 weeks) so don't know anyone really, I've even tried putting it on Facebook and no one has wanted to come! Im pretty
That the issue Cecelia , at the moment it's just me and hubby , and the other two households are a big maybe! I don't want to have to cancel

I'm sure she'll sell one to you, but you'll need to have a demo if you want the host rewards. I checked my consultant's email, and this month you get not only the thermoserver, but also My Way of Cooking, which is worth $60, and most of us think it's a pretty good cookbook.
It honestly shouldn't be too difficult to get 3 people to go to your demo, surely. I've had a few demos and have never had that problem - if anything, I hsve too many people wanting to come along, but I stick to the 3 so everyone can have a good look and I don't have to do too much. So many people I know want to see it.

It is hard because we moved an hour away from anyone we know (except my dad)
and I know an hour isn't far but for them it is!
I'm trying to scrape together the people
Who would of thought it would be so hard!
We don't know any of our neighbours.

Were in our early 20's, and not the sort of peope to go meet the neighbors lol they are all older. Our daughter isn't in school yet and we haven't met any daycare mums, she only just started here!
I'm going through people at the moment to invite/chase up , hopefully a few will come!
Thankyou for the ideas

Emma, why not just ask the neighbors too,
a great way to get to know them.
1 person is a great start.

I absolutely get where you're coming from Emma.. and it's good to read that you've now got a friend coming along.
I had the exact same thing happen to me - not once, but three times. Some people just don't want to come because they think they're going to put in a difficult position of having to buy.
From the other side of the coin - I am now a consultant and 2 days ago a lady emailed me to say she had to cancel Saturday's demo (for the 2nd time) due to people cancelling.
I know she wants to see the TMX & it's hard for both her husband & her to get to classes.
I've offered to do a very brief demo with her & her husband on Saturday, just for an hour or so. I'm just going to make a Fruity Dream and a Pumpkin Soup, so they get an idea of what the TMX can do. She will be providing the main ingredients & she knows there's no host rewards, but is quite grateful that I'm still taking the time to show her.
Maybe, if your full demo doesn't go ahead, your consultant (if she doesn't live too far away), might be able to do something similar. You provide all the ingredients and s/he just does a very basic demo.
Good luck,
Karen
