Just made 8 pies for dinner yum yum cooked in 7 minutes and Judy no soggy bottoms lovely and crisp all over. I used the two different types of pastry. I had braised steak and onoin. I will be looking now for some nice and easy recipes for when I have no leftovers. Overall a big success and very easy to use and clean. For $59.95 a good bargain

Oh no not more recipes and ideas to try. I think I need to find some anti aging potion to keep me alive for an extra 100 years to ever get through all these recipes

I have a Sunbeam pie maker that makes 4 medium size pies.  I bought it a couple of years ago on impulse!

It's really good, very easy to use, easy to clean etc & comes with a cutter (like a big scone cutter) so you can cut the top & bottom pastry the right size.  Never had a problem with soggy bottoms!!

I've used it for making pies with leftovers, or making quiche, or topless egg & bacon pies etc.
Sometimes it gets a lot of use and then I'll stick it at the back of the cupboard and forget about it for awhile.
It's good to have and easy to use  :)

Not sure if they are bigger Judy I am just very happy with the sunbeam, have never had a pie maker before, it will be really easy to make a pie or a quiche if you have unexpected guests. A thought we had tonight was to cut all the circles of the pastry then they are ready to go when needed and if you only want to make one or two pies it won't be a hassle

Hally you brush with oil before you use if for the first time. The next time you use it just turn it on. Very easy instructions tell you everything. The pies aren't as big as a normal pie but much bigger than a party pie. Recipe book was pretty good

This is the Pie maker or what ever you want to call it that I have Mistral Pastry Chef. Its made to fit one full sheet of pastry (Half bottom/Half top) and makes four at a time. I find it excellent for any filling.
