How do you make runny egg pies Amy - the pastry needs around 8 minutes, doesn't the egg go hard in that time?

Thanks for the bread idea Amy. A while back I bought a new jaffle maker as we both really enjoy a nice runny egg jaffle but the darn thing doesn't work for egg. By the time the outside is golden and crisp, the egg is hard. I will try making them like you do using the pie maker and this may be the solution. I daresay you have to butter the bread though whereas you don't need to grease anything when using pastry.
