Have the bag of goodies here in Hervey Bay but I notice we pay $3.  Still love getting a bargain I fill up, cook something different and keep the dogs in fresh veggies.

Don't think the local (Willagee) woolies does this, but there is a great vege shop in Fremantle which sells really good stuff at a fraction of the price anyway (Galatis in Wray Ave for those who are close enough...).

I understand the frustration of those in country areas (especially our hot north). Just got back from Tom Price and realised how expensive and sad the veges were.....  I wonder how many vege and fruit plants would cope even in the hot dry weather with enough water (I expect a lot would be OK with gray water from washing machine or similar - would have to check to avoid soapy lettuce!!).

BARGAIN! I will need to check this out to see if they do it at the shopping centre near me which is Floreat. Let me know anyone if they do in the meantime.

Got a $2 bag yesterday filled with 7 mangoes, 3 heads of broccoli, nice ripe tomatoes and a few kiwis:  I'm a happy shopper:  a cheap taste of the first mangoes this season  :)
3 of the mangoes ended up in a sorbet as they were on the soft side.  The others will be lovely as they are.

I have only seen it once.

Limes in melville has a tray of mangoes for $30, very tempted as we can make mango sorbet tonight at my demo. Think we will and double the recipe as it never lasts long in our house, plus i get to enjoy it as there will be lots left over with double the amount :)

Hally Spud Shed at Jandakot wouldn't be too far from you would it?
