True, Aussie Brenda.  XL would be better... I got the Viva one which is 800gr, do the job but for smaller serving.  DD help herself with snack and lunchbox with the Viva one.

Made a pasta bake and under baked it so that I could cut it in squares and reheat in AF.  Worked very well with nice crispy cheese on top.

Nice idea Chookie. How do you keep the squares together? Mine fall apart when I dish out.

BZB,  I cool the slice in the fridge then slice it in squares.  I think it has a lot to do with the pasta ratio to sauce.  Also I used the long strips of pasta that I made.  Butter at holding together than say penne.

Uni, if you are on Facebook,  you might like to join the group called Air Fryers Unite. There is a lot of talk about some Airfryers being smoky and being returned multiple times.  Reading through all the posts might be helpful. There are a lot of different brands that people in the group own but most with the smoke problem I think might be the same brand.
I have a Facebook page with all things cooking, you'll find it here: https://www.facebook.com/What-Amber-Ate-1097437023601587/

the one time mine smoked was when I put a little more oil on the chips than I should, when I cut down it was fine.

Help! How should I cook these scotch fillets in the airfryer? Feeling a tad nervous as I've got very little experience with steaks. They are about 200g each. Saw a nice onion jam recipe in this week's Coles catalogue, that would go nicely  (I hope) with the steaks

Sorry B, not big steak eaters here.  The advert on TV said it cooked steaks perfectly, let us know how you go.
Mine has smoked up a few times. Thats when i remember to turn it upside down and wipe the element.

I haven't cooked a piece of steak either BZB and when checking the times list, this was the only thing on there involving steak.

Steak (rump)
180 for 10 for rare; 15 mins for medium and 20 mins for well done

By now you've probably cooked it, how did it go?

Judy, I cooked the scotch fillets at 200C for about 12 mins. They were medium rare.

What do you think?
