Tonight I ate the last of my salads and did a small batch of potato gems to go with it.  I think it only took 9 minutes/200o but my neighbour interrupted me and I forgot to write it down.  Next time I'll spray with some olive oil at that point and cook a further minute.  Very nice though.

I also made the chocolate cake from the recipe book using a 19 cm cake tin.  Didn't bother with the icing, just melted chocolate and poured that over the top.  Mixed all the ingredients in the TMX for 40 sec/speed 5 and reduced sugar to 120g.  I also used 1/2 tsp vanilla powder instead of essence (thanks to my SS). Happy with this recipe too.

from frozen, the top half of garlic bread, cut in half...4 minutes @ 200c

Made some onion rings...only had panko crumbs, but would have preferred with finer dried breadcrumbs
Popped all in basket (2 onions)

Cooked 7 mins @ 200c, gave them a shake & cooked another 7 mins

Onion cooked....Probably could have cooked for less really.

Thanks for the experimentation ladies. I didn't make anything in it today.

Maddie, that bread and the onion rings look great.

Yvette, it would be good if it was larger but it does fit quite a bit in the dish and to ensure they all get browned you just stir half way through.  We had friends over yesterday and it was really too hot to eat much but I did pita crisps that were demolished with dip and then just on their own and 2kgs of chicken ribs. 1kg of the ribs had the store lemon pepper marinade and I put them all in the basket at once and cooked for 20 mins 200 degrees and turned them once. The second lot I used the yakitori marinade from Quick Fix and split the cooking time in half and only cooked half at a time - it was better to just cooked the lot together. It was a bit messy afterwards but left to soak overnight. It was scary to see the amount of accumulated fat in the dish - thankfully we only ever cooked these on the BBQ.

I crumbed all my arincini balls, half an eggplant some zucchini and avocado yesterday but didn't end up cooking them to will give them a go today.

DH was telling our guests how impressed he was by the airfryer!!!

Must make that Yakitori marinade...everyone seems to love it!
I think I've confused Hubby with the appliances I have...he doesn't even realise that this one is a new purchase  :P

BZB, I dipped onion rings in flour, then a mix of 1/2 cup buttermilk/1 egg/1/4 cup flour/seasoning....then rolled in the crumbs seasoned with onion powder/garlic powder/pepper.  Like I mentioned, finer bread crumbs would be better I think, so I will blitz the crumbs finely next time.

Judy, forgot to say how good your cake looks, I was wondering if it would burn on the top but doesn't seem to.

I cooked bacon for our bacon and eggs this morning, it was great that I could put it all in to cook while the toast and eggs were cooking at the same time. I cooked the bacon a few minutes early so just turned the temp to 60 to keep warm for the final few minutes. Bacon and eggs for three in 10 mins with minimal clean up.

Ladies, you are all doing great things with your air fryers.  DIL is talking about getting one and if she doesn't like it willl give it to me.  I really don't need one but I hope she doesn't like it. ;D ;D
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.
