I admire your DD Judy. I have been following this thread and am drooling over all the wonderful food.
But I'm sitting on this one as I usually jump in and buy whatever everyone else does and then use the appliance once, it sits in the cupboard and then I put it up for grabs on here  ???

Michelle, I leave my airfyer on the bench..  Kids love the chips and nuggets in it,
My Thermomix,  Kitchen Aid, Pizza oven, Nu Wave 5 in 1, Spatulas, all brings love, laughter, happiness, and great food  to my kitchen.

I had no interest whatsoever until BZB started posting her beautiful photos.  For just me, I know I'll do a lot with mine as it will save turning on the oven just to crisp up a partly-microwaved jacket potato or reheating 1 pie and the fact that I can make a little pizza for myself as well is appealing as I'm not at all keen on the pizza maker.  Mine won't fit on the bench but it will be nearby on a display cabinet shelf where an old TV currently sits so will therefore be easy to bring over to where I want to use it.

Mine actually was delivered this morning, never known a parcel to come on a Saturday morning before.  I didn't expect it until Monday at the earliest so I already have the weekend's meals in the fridge so if I don't get around to using it, I will most certainly be reading the manual.

Have fun with your new machine Judy

How long does it take roughly to cook nuggets and chips? How big is the machine?

Thanks

Yvette, I've put it alongside the Thermomix to show you a comparison.  The backs of both machines are in line with each other.
The basket is 21 cm square x 7 cm deep, a good size I thought.

I just looked back through this thread and the first time I posted was April last year.  I'm so pleased I waited as the size was the only thing really stopping me. After looking in 5 shops here who didn't stock the XL I bought a white XL from TVSN $399 with free postage. Now just to be patient til it arrives.

The other major reason for buying it is that our oven needs replacing but I'd rather wait till we redo the whole kitchen, and also  the airfryer won't heat up our living areas in this horrid heatwave :)

I found cooking chicken strips and chips - both from raw ingredients and I had them in for 12 mins.
