BUYING ME: Wow, that is really cool and it's healthier. I could make fries & arancini .

SOD ME (simplify, organise, declutter) It's cool but NO!

BUYING ME: totally ignoring SOD me - I'ld rather the black one. Nil postage.

SOD ME: Seriously?? Snap out of it. It will sit unused after a couple of times. Plus you do all of this in the oven, like you do now.

BUYING ME: I suppose you're right.

Hahaha. Love the conversation that's taking place, Mich.

Love your experiments, Judy. You're so thorough. Our collective knowledge just took a quantum leap with Judy at the helm :)

I made Chelsea's meat balls tonight and fried in two lots n the airfryer. Because the mixture was very soft I cooked for 4 minutes on baking paper then removed the baking paper and cooked another 4 mins. After they were finished a kept in the baking dish and covered with the tomatoe sauce made in TMX then covered the dish in foil and kept warm at 160 for 10 mins while the pasta was cooking. Very quick easy and tasty. Must admit the dish and tray is very dirty now and I think I might put it in the dish washer overnight to see how it comes up

INAID you can stop it and have a look at what is going on. I thought I could smell burning tonight but it was my imagination.  :-\

Nice to see a variation of meals happening here as we all put our machines through their paces.  Timing is probably the most difficult if there isn't a similar recipe in the book but I guess it's a bit like the chopping function on the TMX, less is best - you can always add more.  Once we've all done a bit of this and a bit of that, I'm sure we'll time things just right every time.  There are certainly enough people sharing their recipes and methods now to all be a help to each other - thanks everyone.  This is going to be a valuable thread for all those who already have them and those who are showing restraint - hi Michele  :D

Very clever Uni. :)
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

Could anyone tell me if the air fryer is similar to the round  electric oven with the element on top.  .?

take them out of the cupboard, so you see them, then you use them.  :)

If you put them away, you forget you have them...

Hally, I have 3 big benches in my kitchen...

Do you need a bigger kitchen, so you can leave them out ;)

Hally as much as I'm loving mine, if I had a small efficient oven that I was happy with I wouldn't have got one. I'm loving being able to heat small things up quickly for lunch and the ease of cooking in it but it's definitely not a necessity
