i forgot to time it JD
made some crispy mushroom
my notes
beat egg white in a deep bowl add mushrooms add crumbs stir to coat mushrooms , place in basket, shake basket a few times over sink to remove extra crumbs, spray with veg oil bake at 200 for 8 mins
recipe from FB
Crispy Button Mushrooms
================
Another simple delish recipe here.
Button Mushroom 10 pieces
Egg White 1 piece
Parmesan Cheese 2 tablespoon
Breadcrumbs 3 tablespoon
Salt & Pepper
1. Use damp paper towel to clean mushroom gently.
2. Combine breadcrumbs, cheese, salt & pepper.
3. In a Ziploc bag place egg white and mushrooms. Shake well to coat.
4. Then add in breadcrumb mixture and shake well again to let mushrooms evenly coated with the crumbs.
5. Line a baking sheet inside the basket and place mushrooms in an even layer. Spray lightly with oil.
6. Airfry for 8-10 min or until golden brown.
* For those who don't take cheese, can use chopped herbs to replace

You have all been cooking some great stuff. I was happy to find the family had been using the airfryer while I was away.

Happy dance
I've researched chicken parmigiana since it was mentioned last week. Couldn't find a method using airfryer, so I had to wing it.
To cook the chicken, before the final step:
Preheat to 200°. Place baking paper in basket. Add 2 pcs of crumbed chicken breast. Spray with oil. Bake for 5 mins. Flip, spray, another 5 mins. Remove baking paper. 2 more mins.
The last bit:
On baking paper. Spoon napoli sauce over the chicken. Sprinkle the cheeses. 200° 4-5 mins.

Love your experiments BZB and the fact you will try anything. Did you leave the chicken fillets whole or slice them through the centre to make them thinner?

Thank you, Denise and Judy. I was super happy that it didn't fail miserably, considering I've not eaten it before and I can't find any airfryer recipes for the cooking. A few recipes asked for the crumbed chicken to be pan fried before chucking into oven. I thought of airfrying, then oven. But the thought of one more item to wash stopped me.
Loved the time savings and use of less oil with the AF. I didn't have to take care of 6 pcs of chicken in the pan. Melting the cheese was faster in AF, but I had to cook in 3 batches. That was still ok, as I had time to prepare pasta and salad
💗 my TM and AF. I should start a food blog to express my delight 😄😃😆

Yes, if you have the time BZB - I'm sure it would be a wonderful blog just as your contributions to the forum are.
