Chris,  to keep things moist I put them in an oven bag and  tuck the end under.
Bedlam , the little sponge cakes baked in the coffee cups were excellent.
I reheated small Date scones for visitors,  5 mins, 200.  1/2 nay nay recipe.

Wow I think maybe I need one of these.

Very versatile MF, and complimentary to Thermie . I am loving it.
Yes Chookie I thinking I may try a ring tin next.  Imy banana cake was a full recipe and certainly was edible just needed me paying attention and possibly a lower temp for an extra 5 minutes or so

MF, go for it. Very, very fun. Faster than oven if you cook a small batch. Healthier way to cook, instead of deep frying.

Some AF food I've posted before (whilst you were busy) ...

Tandoori chicken

Doughnuts

Peri peri chicken

Chookie's Naan

Curry puffs

Mochi cheese puffs

Bedlam,  I have baked small bread rolls in a ring tin in AF.   Excellent.  Think banana bread would be great this way. Probably 1/2 recipe.

I have now read this thread fro start to finish and it has wowed me.
BZB your food looks amazing as does everyone else's. I am going to order one online so I don't have to wait long when I get home. Had a look at one this morning in Noel Leeming NZ$399 which is cheaper than in Oz but too bulky and heavy to cart home. Any recommendations on online stockists? I want a black one. Can't wait. Thanks ladies   ;D

Just looked at TVSN and $399 with free baking tray so I will order it on Wednesday as I don't want it being delivered till I return home.

I am sure you will have no regrets MF.  Enjoy you holiday.  Are they still doing free delivery? Lots have got good deals with Harvey Norman. I think the white was most popular so perhaps worth checking as probably avail and no waiting.

Yes still free delivery Denise so I think that's a pretty good deal with the free baking tray. Hope still free delivery next week. I guess I could have it posted to one of my DS's or DD's homes but no guarantees that they would be home when delivered.

The baking tray is for the smaller model. I paid $19 for it, its good quality but i tend to use a 20cm baking tin. It is a bit deceiving I think. But yes still a good deal. I am going to buy one for my DS and his GF for their birthday.

Clever Uni.
I don't seem to be using mine as much as others. However I have been out rather a lot, and we don't do a lot of frying of any sort. DD has been doing the baking while she is home and only wants to use the oven. All fair enough with me.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

BZB you need to start charging the air fryer makers for advertising fees. Your photos are amazing.
