Keep it a secret Bedlam. I'm sure they will love the pie.  :D ;D

The house smelt so good. I felt sorry for DH  so I  bought more meat and doing it again. Thought I would mix the two.

Put a dish of potatoes and duck fat in the oven underneath the lamb roast. Heard a bang after a minute and looked in to the oven to find a shattered dish and potatoes all over the floor of the oven!  Not a moment to take a photo, and I think I might have said "golly" or a word like that!  Not sure what happened, used the dish often in oven, was hot before I put it in. Big cleanup once oven is cold. Had to do another dish of potatoes but luckily nothing else affected. Sigh......

Not fun Bonsai. Was it a favourite dish?

I'm sure it still tastes lovely Denise. Certainly would make a yummy pie.

Bonsai how awful, hope the clean up wasn't too bad.

Oh dear Bonsai, makes my "soup" insignificant.  Lucky it was underneath the meat.

Well, at least I tried and now I know it doesn't work  ;D

Thought I'd be smart and make 3 baguettes from the wholemeal bread recipe we've all been doing this week.  Maybe I should have sprayed the form first but at least I can turn them into breadcrumbs. They didn't leak through the holes as I expected them to but they didn't rise much either.  I'll make up my mind when they cool down, I might still be able to eat them.

Actually they tasted quite OK.  I cut each one into 3 and have frozen them to have with soup, they are nice and crunchy.

My EDC Banana Bread overflowed :-X Note to myself a bigger loaf tin was needed :D :D

After a bit of manipulation it eventually popped out of my loaf tin.
