A tip for anyone about to have a blonde moment like I just did...don't remove the MC and look down the hole when you're blitzing curry paste at high speed!

I didn't manage a photo as I was too busy cleaning my face and glasses  :-))

Lol. Not a good idea then Katie.

And talking about blonde moments, my DS (5) said to me yesterday "Mum when I get older will I be dumb?" no I said why do you say that?
He said "because I'm blonde"

Lol I laughed for ages after that.

dede it only cooked around the sides,  the milddle was still very runny after 1 1/2 in the oven, the cooked part is very nice

hools thanks for that tip will try it next time

most recipes on the net for this cake dont use the baking powder, do you hools ?

Yes, Uni, I use 1 tbls homemade baking powder( bicarb and cream of tartar). It's just the sugar I cut down by 100g. It's amazing how much mess it makes isn't it? Mine looked like yours too!!

Looks like you are going to be a busy lady Uni - do you know how many people are booked in for the evening meal?

Made nay-nay's scones for morning tea today.  Didn't have any cream so used some vanilla yoghurt instead.  Popped them in the oven and then got so busy doing something else I forgot about them.  :-)) Very dark and rather heavy.  I should have taken a photo of them out on the back lawn with all the birds having a feast.  Oh well won't try that again.

At least the birds ate them, Mab19.  The first bread I made (30 + years ago now) was so hard not even the birds would eat it!

Made some marinade for some chicken drumsticks and dropped a whole container of sesame seeds everywhere, went down the side of the fridge and oven. Now I have to pull both of them out to get to all the seeds.
