My DH is an electrician Amy, and I can't tell you how long it takes him to get around to doing work here...  I think they are slightly better at showing up for PAID jobs though... 

Same here Jo, but all the electrical work in his garage and shed was finished promptly!

Cupbaoards all fixed, now we just need the new window and the powerpoints, and then the tiler can finish tiling!

Yes please Ames, I love looking at the kitchen photos and I particularly love the red in yours. I have a white kitchen but all my accessories are red. Red expresso coffee maker, red kettle etc, etc.

Love too Amy that you have the bulkheads on the top cupboards - I dread cleaning the tops of the cupboards - my once a fortnight slip on the gloves and whistle while you work hour.

It was all mum's design, she chose everything from the colour and layout of the cupboards to the tiles and taps
I feel sorry for you having to clean the tops of cupboards Even our old crappy kitchen had bulkheads on the top cupboards, but I can picture it being a pain in the bum of a job
What do you whistle while you clean the tops of your cupboards?

Well, Amy because I clean them fortnightly, not so bad of a job. I can't whistle either  mainly hum to ABBA songs - take a chance on me is favourite
