it sounds beautiful thermie crew  your view from your window
how wonderful it must be while you are washing dishes to look out
and see all the birds swimming around
washing dishes must be a pleasure for you

I wouldn't go that far Nazar! It's a pleasure looking out the window but doing the dishes is still one of my least favourite jobs! Would rather be sitting and relaxing under the pergola, enjoying the even better wetland view from the back of our house!

Nice to see you still get a good amount of computer time with bubs #3 around  :). My third is due in Dec, am anticipating losing all time to myself again! Hope to be proven wrong  ;D

l rented a house once and in summer if l wash the dishes in the morning  about 8 am
the sun would shine on my back and it was so warm,  it made a boring job more pleasurable to do

I am going to attempt to post a couple of images of my kitchen, forgive me if it goes badly awry.

Cuilidh looks great, I'm very jealous of that central work unit. I'd love to have that to work on.

I've enjoyed seeing all your lovely kitchens - all varied, nothing the same and also thanks to all those who have added avatars of themselves now as well.  I'm sure this thread will continue to grow and grow.

Thanks, Tarasis, it's brilliant having that central unit - but you would be surprised how quickly I can fill it up with dishes cooling, prep ingredients waiting for the next recipe, etc.  We've only had our home for three years, but I can't imagine how I ever managed before.

Some of the kitches that have been posted on this thread are brilliant, wouldn't it be nice to have a bit of this one and a bit of that one and and idea from here and another one from there and so on?  I should imagine you would be wanting big bits of this one and that one so that you can justify enlarging your kitchen!

thermie crew  sorry to confuse you  its my facebook photo it was taken 2 half years ago
l thought it would be an easy photo to upload
l found the first 3 months after giving birth was  hard for me as l was quite sick  but then it gradually got easyier
then when they sleep though the night---  its magic
but was still an enjoyable time to spend with my baby
l loved that time ,  there soft skin, the warmth of there body as they lay on you,
the drunk milk look they get  when they had took much
ohh and the smell of them after a bath  cherish these times as they dont last long

I've been laid low with flu for the last week and have enjoyed reading this thread but had no energy to take pictures (or indeed to tidy the kitchen before taking them  :D :D)

Here they are -

Thanks CP3.   We are very lucky in living in a Victorian house where the rooms dowstairs are about 12 ft high - changing light bulbs is always a bit challenging  ;D

Thanks CC - I actually prefer the pic of my cat but as everyone else has been exposing themselves, I thought I should do so as well
