Nice to see you were laughing about it fundj.  Buy a new pair as Hally suggested and hide them.  ;D

That's so funny, and a ransom not for the kettle, clever boy, long as he doesn't get any idea's of doing the same thing to you TM.
I have cheap scissors in the kitchen that can be used for anything, but touch any of my other scissors and there is big trouble.
I child-proofed my house, but they still get in!

ha ha that sounds like my household  :D :D I do bring some of the things upon myself as like you fundj I do do things to them  :D :D

Love the ransom note for the kettle - I might do that to my boys as we use the coffee machine and they don't - that requires more effort than boiling the kettle and a tea bag! Might hide the kettle until they mow the lawns  ;) ;)

funny how we all have GOOD scissors hidden away  :)

It's a woman thing I think - no man or child appreciates the fact that we need a pair just for sewing.  However, it would be a different matter if you borrowed DH's razor and put it back blunt  ;) ;)

I can't stand it when people use my kitchen (knives) scissors - I say "THEY ARE MEANT FOR COOKING!!!"

(Then I think oh well, if I use them to cut up a chicken and they get sick with salmonella that'll teach 'em  ;D)

i have different scissors for different purposes...two pairs of kitchen scissors and one for poultry etc, a couple of pairs of normal scissor for cutting off tags, paper etc etc and sewing scissors...a few of those too....in this house nobody touches anything...;they generally leave it up to me and when we have guests they are poliety told not to do anything lol....i like things the way i like them and cant even handle people stackig or unstacking the dishwasher...and if people wash up my dishes when we are somewhere else once i get home i just rewash everything lol....think maybe i have a problem  ???  :D :D

DH always takes my kitchen scissors. I just gave up and for every pair he takes I now replace, we therefore have a lot of scissors. He was annoyed that I kept buying good scissors, he doesnt take mine now!!LOL

Sorted..lol

Frozzie did you happen to read the article to which I post the link re dishwasher stackers?   After reading that article my fam. realise that I am not necessarily the one with the problem (well at least when it comes to my pedantic dishwasher controlled stacking!!!!
