Not sure if this is the right place but for those who use kindle on the ipad or computer Amazon currently have Nigella Lawson, How to Eat for US$2.24. I generally stay away from purchasing cook books but might give it a try.

I've had a Kindle for a couple of years now and have a whopping 74 books archived. I never used to read as much pre-Kindle.

I have to agree with CP63 - I've just had a look at my list and I've got 76 books archived after owning the Kindle for 2 years.  I still use real books for  about half of my reading, too!
No wonder this place is such a mess.  ;D

I'm not even going to count how many I have waiting to be read. If I see something I know I'll read and it is a good price, I buy it there and then. Kobo often have specials or discounts.
I also still read paper books too.
Hope you're enjoying "The Glass Castle" Jeninwa and CP. "The Happiest REfugee" is a great story too.
I'm just about to start a Matthew Riley for book club.

I really enjoyed Tuesday's with Morrie although was a little slow. Reading The Great Gatsby at the moment. Last night I was trying to convince my 11 year old son to read before going to bed and he was refusing (as he normally does) and then I let him choose a book from Amazon and use my kindle in bed and he couldn't get them quick enough. He even got up and was reading during breakfast, mind you the book he purchase was "the Underware Dare" and is a typical boy book full of toilet humour but at least it's got him interested in reading for a few days. DH even mentioned maybe we should get him one for Christmas!!! I'm sure the novelty will end relatively quickly though so won't be rushing out to purchase a new one.

I bought the Kindle case with the light but the wand which holds the light broke within a couple of weeks when I was showing it to someone and his shirt cuff caught the extended light.

Since then I purchased the Kandle II which I like very much.  It clips onto the top of the Kindle, in or out of the "jacket" and is small and light enough to carry in a pocket and it comes with a protective bag.

Here it is closed:

And this shows it open with the light on - brightness is adjustable normal and bright.

I tried another that was sold at a book store but it was rather top heavy.  This one is lighter and easier for me to use.

You can also get lights that clip on to the cover (I tend to use these at night as they give a better light coverage than the ones that come in the kindle cover) - they are called Xtraflex Mighty Bright, but I won't put a link to them on here because it is off our web site so I don't think it is appropriate to do that.  If anyone wants more information on these please feel free to PM me.
