Hi everyone, I became a thermomixer 10 weeks ago. I actually loitered on  thermomix forums & blogs for 10 months before I took the plunge. I was intimidated by the cost but at the same time impressed with both the machine & the enthusiasm of the owners. It was so exciting to find a world of people who were,  like me,  interested in cooking from scratch.
Like many others here I have a family member with food intolerances & it's been wonderful to feel that I'm not alone in the strange new world of gluten & lactose free cooking.
I thought it was time to perhaps start contributing in some way as well as reading.

Thanks for popping over Curly Club - the TMX is extremely helpful for those with family intolerances as you have found out. Looking forward to your contributions.

Welcome, Curly Club.  You'll find much encouragement, stimulation and friendship in this great forum.  You have chosen well - first by getting your Thermomix, then when you spoke up here.  Enjoy every day with your Thermomix.

Glad you officially joined us. I didn't think we had any food intolerance however have just got back from holidays and no TMX eating shop bread and boy my husband snores, now with TMX bread again sleeps quietly. He has been checked for any allergies and none where found. I think it must be a preservative. Truly amazing though you really wouldn't believe the difference it makes.

Bedlam, I would believe that. We have no intolerances here but if we eat 'numbers' we both feel a bit yuk. (It may be mind over matter but I don't think so)
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.
