Help - becoming Thermosessive
« on: October 17, 2011, 12:15:29 pm »
Help me, I'm becoming Thermomix Obsessive (Thermosessive), I seem to be spending more and more time in the kitchen using it, more time reading the forums and trawling the recipe sites.

Is there a Thermononymous?

Farscape???  Although in our house Battlestar Gallactica "frackin'" is more common.

Yes well, it happens to us all, this thermosessive business!  My husband likens the effect to a cult!  Although he enjoys the fruits of my addiction.  I work full time and have 3 children and still managed to spend 7 days, 20 hours, and 29 minutes here on this forum since Christmas. . . got to get your priorities right!  Not to mention all the extra time I spend cooking . . . because I can make all these things I never dreamed of!

Welcome aboard Tasaris  ;D

I was saying to my DH that I have become a zealot with regard to TMX. It is so hard not to be obsessed.  I made jame in 10 minutes this morning...I mean!

Fortunately,  once you live in a Thermomix world, there is no going back.

People who don't have one, don't understand.  Price, price blah blah I would not, nor could never go back to my pre Thermie life.

I love him xx

Like, Bedlam.

On the other hand, maybe we need a Thermosessive button!!

Yes, I'm well and truly hooked too.  I find I'm getting up earlier and earlier in the morning to catch up on the night's postings and now I am even popping on during the day at work (not good for work flow!).  It's hard to control myself .... I'll have to check the meaning of the words "self control" to get me back on track - although probably too late for me when it comes to ignoring this fabulous forum.

I just thought it was a normal response to a thermomix ... I didn't realise I had a problem!

It looks like we should be setting up a "Thermononymous" group and help ourselves ....  oops, sorry, that's what we've already got, isn't it.  Looks like we're stuck with it guys and gals.
