Hello everyone, I'm a new thermomix lover in Sydney, Mum of 4 kids.
I'm always thinking of what to cook, driving me crazy but it's so much fun with Thermomix!
I have a question regarding making BREAD!
her it is, i just moved the question from bread recipe section.
I've made nice bread so far - just simple ones in the cookbook.- my favourite is 5 seeds bread - not for kids..,,.
Thanks to Mr. TMX. It’s so easy and I love making bread now.
And it’s time for me to explore,
please help me solve/clarify regarding bread making.
My family likes wholegrain (reasonable-about 50% ) bread,
want to make it with less yeast (additive) as i can,
I also like the idea of soaking wholegrain (might be easier for little ones to digest).
Then I found this thread by Ms. Jabba
Slow Ferment, Low Yeast, Oat Bread Variation - sounds great!
http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=4575.0now, please correct me if I didn't get the instruction right, (English is not my first language.....)
1, so the actual wheat flour soaking has to start the night before, then put the rest and knead in the morning.-right?
2, then after kneading, is it ok to leave dough in the TMX bowl for another 12-16 hours - would be easier. (have to time right, though....)
3, and if ok to leave the dough in the bowl, is this with normal room temperature? (summer and winter?) or safer in the fridge? Or take it out of the bowl and let it rise?
4, then knead again, take it out to rest for another 2-4 hours and bake
it's a long process but once get used to it, it should work for us.,,,,,, please help!
I also tried BAKE in Bread machine after kneading dough in TMX.
simply because i have 4 kids in/out of the kitchen/house and dont always have time to watch my dough rise and in out in oven, out again,, also my bread machine is brad new, only bought a few months before TMX....
i used the shortest 2hour cycle and worked beautifully!
if anyone has tried this let me know if there's better way or choosing the right cycle..
thank you very much!
