I change my size using the 'paint' option and the forum will not accept it if it is not under 256 KB so I usually reduce it to 20%.
I see you have put a photo of your kitchen up, was this the one you were trying to post - if so, you have succeeded  ;)

Yeah each photo has to be less that 256k and the combined total of photos attached cant be over 512k.

On the Mac, if the pic was exported to large from iPhoto then I open it in the Preview app and resize it to 800x600 and that usually reduces the file size enough.

Hi Judy. When I click additional options the button next to the word attach is grey'd out. Maybe because I'm using an iPad? I'll try tomorrow on my box monster computer and see what happens :)

Ah, iPad, not up with that.  Did you see Meagan's posting here about iPad and photos, scroll down to the bottom, you can't miss her photo  ;D

I actually use photobucket on the big computer and on my netbook. I upload them from either the camera or the SD stick and keep them in an album callled thermomix. (drr-easy to find). Then when I want to post them here I just click on the photo, a list drops down below it, click and copy the bottom line. Come back to the forum and click paste where you want it. Then check using preview that it shows. In the reply message it just comes up with the link, not the photo.

It's as clear as mud. Sorry.

I'm not seeing any of the above and would like to post a photo or 2 on the Christmas tree and kitchen threads.

Firstly mcmich, have you put the pictures from your camera onto your computer yet?  Let's start from there.

Okay I'm following you for this one JD. I'm hoping to put up a photo of my cooking this week and was going to go looking for a thread to read. I'm all ears (or should that be eyes?) when you're ready. I will be taking photos tomorrow so hoping to follow your instructions.

I'm not the best one for instructions Twitterpated, others do it so much better than me and everyone seems to do something different.  It is the hardest thing to explain to everyone because we are all using different cameras, different computers if you know what I mean.
